Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland
Dr. Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met and spoke with Mr. Radosław Sikorski, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, on Monday evening on the sidelines of the annual United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York.
During the meeting, in addition to topics related to bilateral relations, issues concerning international peace and security, including the conflict in Ukraine and developments in the West Asia region, were discussed.
Referring to the inappropriate approaches of the three European countries regarding Iran's nuclear issue, Dr. Araghchi emphasized the need for all parties to be responsible and avoid complicating the situation.
Araghchi considered the aggressive attack by the Zionist regime and the United States against Iran and the damage to the country's peaceful nuclear facilities to be an unprecedented violation of the rule of law and a dangerous sign of the law of the jungle governing international relations. Referring to the consequences of any indifference to the prevalence of such lawlessness, he called on all countries to adhere to the principles and goals of the United Nations Charter.
